


Bounded by the Burrard Inlet and the Fraser River, Burnaby is located just east of Vancouver. Burnaby's cityscape is diverse; within it's 92 square kilometer layout you'll find lovely old growth forests, beaches, Simon Fraser University, loads of shopping, restaurants, and lovely Burnaby Mountain.

- Barnet Marine Park
Located on the shore of Burrard Inlet, where you can enjoy trails, swimming, biking, picnicking, and more fabulous views of Indian Arm and the North Shore.
- Deer Lake Park
The home of the Burnaby Art Gallery and a hub of artistic activity. You'll also the Burnaby Arts Council and the Burnaby Art Centre located here.
- Metrotown
The second largest concentration of commercial activity in Greater Vancouver. This complex is the region's "downtown" core and offers high-density commercial, retail and residential space. It has its own SkyTrain station.
Burnaby adjoins Vancouver to the west, New Westminster and Coquitlam to the east, and the Fraser River and Burrard Inlet to the south and north. To the north, it also neighbours Port Moody. Commuting time by automobile from midpoint Burnaby to Downtown Vancouver is 25 minutes. Traveling by public transit from midpoint Burnaby to Downtown Vancouver will take approximately 15 minutes.
