Mission: "Our customers call us first."
HighStreet Vision: "Looks like home."
Toward a future where residential homes and investment properties are networked around the world to provide safe, comfortable, and private temporary housing for an educated, professional, and mobile global workforce.
The HighStreet vision is environmentally friendly. Instead of requiring investment in new development, HighStreet's accommodations are pre-existing residential properties. By employing them as visitor lodging, otherwise unused homes pay back their value to their owners and provide great value to people who require temporary homes.
The HighStreet vision is socially conscious. Visitors have the opportunity to mix in the resident communities. Canada's great cultural mosaic is the perfect starting point for this concept of temporary housing. Instead of seclusion and isolation, visitors find themselves living in community. They are free to participate to whatever level they desire.
The HighStreet vision is fundamentally sound. It pools resources in a way to reduce investor risk, operator liability and visitor anxiety about finding suitable shelter in a foreign place.
"Looks like Home" is no simple motto. Everywhere in the world, home means a safe place where family life is the social norm and only invited guests have rights of access.
"One never reaches home. But where paths that have affinity for each other intersect, the whole world looks like home, for a time." - Herman Hesse
